Annual Club Tournament Update - Thursday 30th June 2005

Saturday 18th June 2005 Update

Thank you to those who have returned their entry forms and have entered the Tournament. Due to a minor administration error, the committee have agreed to extend the closing date from Friday 17th June to Wednesday 22nd June 2005. The draw will now take place on Friday 24th June 2005.

Many entries have been received within the last couple of days so the competition should be interesting!

I hope to have an updated schedule here soon after the draw.

Saturday 25th June 2005 Update

Each player in the group will play each other with the winner and runner-up proceeding to a semi-final. 3rd and 4th placed players will go to a Consolation Semi-Final.

I have decided that due to a tight time schedule, the Mini and Handicap will be best of 3 games, 11 point format. The open will be best of 5 as normal.

The approximate schedule will be as follows:-

Mini – Start 19:00 - Finish 20:30

Handicap – Start 19:15 - Finish 22:00

Open - Start 20:00 - Finish 22:00

These are approximate times but I would appreciate you being very prompt so that we can fit all the matches in on the day. Below you will find the start time of your first match so I would like you to be ready to play at that time as it will make scheduling difficult if the start times are not met.

19:15 – Joe, Nick R

19:30 – Cameron, Richard

19:45 – Andy, James

20:00 – Roger, Bob, Tak

If anyone has any problems starting at these times, can they please let me know ASAP.
