Tournament Regulations
1.Entry to all events is restricted to club members only. Club members are defined as players who have paid the annual membership fee 2004/2005.
2.Entry into Event 3 (Mini-Singles) is restricted to coaching class junior players only (Wednesday Session).
3.Invited non-members can play in Event 1 and 2 by paying a membership fee for the remaining period of the membership year, currently 2 months. This payment will entitle a status of new member and will receive all subsequent member benefits.
4.In Event 2 (Handicap). DDTTA handicaps for 2004/2005 will be used. Member without a valid handicap will have a number allocated to them by the tournament committee prior to commencement of play.
5.Matches in Event 1 and 3 will be best of 5, 11 up.
6.Matches in Event 2 will be best of 3, 21 up.
7.All competitions will be a straight knockout unless entry numbers are small enough to manage in the initial group stages.
8.A Consolation Event may be held for first round losers if entry numbers and time permit.
Further Information
1.Entry forms should be filled out and returned to Paul Cheong by Friday 17th June 2005.
2.Play throughout will be on 4-5 tables for the duration of the tournament.
3.Refreshments – There will be limited refreshments for sale.
4.Draw – the draw will take place on Sunday 19th June 2005.
5.Trophies or Medals – will be presented to all winners and runners-up.
